The Lady Hornets trailed 13-10 with 5:39 left in the first quarter when the Irish went on a 16-3 run to go up by 16 points with 1:52 left.

Emporia State went on a 6-0 run with buckets by
Tre'Zure Jobe,
Victoria Price and
Karsen Schultz to close within ten points with 9:41 left in the half. It was a 15 points game at 42-27 with 3:39 left in the half when Notre Dame closed the half on an 11-0 run to take a 53-27 lead into the break. The Irish outscored the Lady Hornets 29-8 in the fourth quarter for the final score of 104-46.

Tre'Zure Jobe scored 15 points to lead Emporia State while
Kali Martin added nine points and
Ehlaina Hartman eight points.

The Lady Hornets will begin the regular season on November 12 when they take on Harding as part of the MIAA-GAC Challenge. Tip-off in Joplin, Mo. is set for 3:00 p.m.
