EMPORIA STATE SOCCER BEGINS TEXAS TRIP WITH WIN AT MIDWESTERN STATE

Box Score September 13, 2019-Emporia State improved to 2-1-0 on the year with a 1-0 win at Midwestern State on Friday night in Wichita Falls, Texas.
 
The Hornets got on the board in the 22^nd minute on an unassisted goal by Mackenzie Dimarco for the win.  Jillian Patton had six saves on the night as she posted her second straight shut out.
 
Emporia State will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to East Texas to take on Texas A&M-Commerce.  Kick-off against the Lions is set for 12 noon.
