October 20, 2017- Emporia State soccer fell 1-0 to Northwest Missouri. The Hornets fall to 6-7-2 on the season, 2-5-1 in the MIAA.
In a match that saw 26 total shots, 22 fouls and six corner kicks the Hornets were outshot 15-11 by the Bearcats. The lone goal of the contest came from Bri Wawriorka in the 65th minute on a rebound from a shot that was deflected in front of the goal.
The Hornets are back in action on Sunday October 22 as they take on Missouri Western in Emporia, Kan. at the ESU Pitch.
