September 5, 2015-Emporia State opened the second day of the Washburn Invitational with a 3-1 loss to Augustana. The Hornets won the first set before falling in the final three sets.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Emporia State outblocked Augustana 13.0-10.0 but were held to just .022 hitting in the match.
Josie Williams was the only Hornet to hit over .100 in the match, finishing with a team high nine kills on .138 hitting.
Ten of the 13 Hornets had at least one block with Tatum Graves getting a team high five blocks to go with six kills.
