September 25, 2015-Emporia State suffered their first shutout since October 24 of last year in a 4-0 loss to #1 ranked Central Missouri on Friday night in Warrensburg, Mo.
QUICK GOALS
For the second straight game the Hornets gave up two goals in quick succession. The Jennies took the lead 14:40 into the match on Julie Ireland's seventh goal of the season and just 2:48 later Jada Scott gave UCM a 2-0 lead. Megan Woolley would add a third goal in the 35th minute to give the Jennies a 3-0 lead at halftime. Woolley scored her second goal of the night in the 65th minute for the final score of the night.

Yadira Rivera had seven saves as she faced 23 shots as Central Missouri had 11 corner kicks in the match.

The Hornets will travel across Missouri on Saturday before playing Lindenwood on Sunday afternoon. Kick-off in St. Charles,Mo. is set for 12 noon.
