September 11, 2015-Emporia State rolled to its third straight win with a straight set sweep of Missouri-St. Louis on Friday night at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles, Mo.
DOUBLE UP
Both Emma Benton and Josie Williams had ten kills for the Hornets with Benton adding 17 digs. It is the third straight match in double figures for Benton in kills and she matched her career high in digs.
Shayla Cotman also reached double figures in points with seven kills, three block assists, two solo blocks and a service ace.
Kelly Holden had 20 digs in the three set match.
ON A ROLL
The latest the Hornets trailed in any of the three sets was at 11-10 in the final set. Emporia State had at least a five point lead when they scored their 20th point in all three sets.

Emporia State will continue play at the Lindenwood Invitational on Saturday against Harding at 9:30 a.m. and Ark.-Ft. Smith at 12:30 p.m. in St. Charles, Mo.
