EMPORIA STATE BASKETBALL FALL TO #10 WICHITA STATE

November 21, 2015 – Emporia State lost to #10 Wichita State 76-54 Saturday afternoon in Koch Arena.

FIRST HALF
It was a slow start for both teams. The first media timeout the Shockers lead 4-2 over the Hornets.  From there it was all Wichita State for the remainder of the first half, the Shockers taking a 38-13 lead into half-time.

SECOND HALF
Wichita State would continue to hold their lead despite the Hornets increase in scoring during the second half. The Hornets had two players score in double figures.  Josh Oswald had 16 points and Charles McKinney with 10 points.

UP NEXT
The Hornets will host their first home game Tuesday, November 24 as they face Northwestern Oklahoma State University in White Auditorium.
