October 10, 2015-Emporia State was held to -.021 hitting in a three game sweep by #16 Neb.-Kearney on Saturday night in Kearney, Neb.
DECENT START
The Hornets started the match fairly well, taking a 2-1 lead and forcing three ties in the first six points. The Lopers took control with a 9-3 run to take a 21-12 lead on their way to a 25-13 win in the first set. UNK then jumped out to a 17-2 lead in the second set before winning 25-6. Emporia State scored the first two points of the third set and led 3-1 before a 10-1 run pushed UNK to a 25-16 victory and sweep of the match.
NUMBERS
Tatum Graves had five kills on .300 hitting adn added three block assists for the Hornets. Sydney Hartman had ten assists and was the only Hornet to reach double figures in either assists, digs or kills on the night.

Emporia State will begin a five match home stand on Friday, October 16 against Missouri Western. First serve from White Auditorium is set for 7:00 p.m.
