September 15, 2013-On a rainy day in Denver, Colo. the Emporia State soccer team was outshot 30-0 in a 1-0 loss at Metro State on Sunday afternoon.

Yadira Rivera had saves on nine of ten shots on goal on the afternoon as much of the match was spent on the Hornets defensive side of the field.

Emporia State is back in action on Friday, September 20 when they play host to Washburn.  Kick-off for the Turnpike Tussle is set for 7 p.m. at Emporia HS.
