August 31, 2012-The Emporia State soccer team starts the new season much like last season, at the MIAA/GAC Challenge against East Central and SW Oklahoma State. Emporia State played to a 1-1 tie with SW Oklahoma State and lost to East Central 1-0 in 2011.
