Fief is in his third year as the Director of Athletic Operations and Event Management at Emporia State. 

In this position he oversees maintenance and upgrades to athletic facilities and coordinates game day operations for football, basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer.  He organizes ESU Athletic bus/charter travel and ensures pass lists are in accordance with NCAA rules.  He assists with corporate sponsorships and ticket operations as well as the preparation of the Athletic Auction and Golf Tournament. 

Fief is a graduate of Fort Hays State University earning a Bachelors degree in Sports Management, while there he gained experience as a student worker and intern for the athletic department.
