Kellsey Trimble

A native of Richland, Kansas and former NCAA Division I thrower, Kellsey Trimble is in her seventh year coaching collegiate athletics, and her fifth year as throws coach at ESU. She has coached 5 All-Americans, 3 MIAA Champions, 8 All-MIAA performers, 13 National qualifiers, and 3 school record holders. 

Trimble threw javelin collegiately for the University of Hawai’i where she qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the javelin her senior year finishing 34th and placed seventh in the WAC outdoor championships and eighth as a junior. She was a two-time Jayhawk Conference champion at Neosho County Community College in the javelin and threw hammer during her time at Neosho.

Trimble graduated from Shawnee Heights HS in 2008, where she competed in cross country and track and field. She was the Topeka City Champion and placed third in the state in the javelin as a senior.
