Cole Baird is in his first season as a defensive graduate assistant.  Baird will help coach the linebackers.
 
As a player, Baird was a four-year letterman for the Hornets from 2016 to 2021.
 
Baird is pursuing a Master of Science in health, physical education and coaching.  Baird earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Emporia State in 2021.
 
Baird is originally from Silver Lake, Kansas.
