OVERVIEW: This will be Yuchen’s third year on the Hornets Volleyball Team. The team is looking forward to her making an impact on the court as both a hitter and setter.  Yuchen is lethal lefty at both the right side and outside positions.  Her court knowledge and overall power make her a force to be dealt with.

SOPHOMORE YEAR: Yuchen played in 24 matches (91 sets) and started in all 24 of those matches. She had 218 kills averaging 2.40 kills per set. Yuchen also added 284 sets, 204 digs, and 60 blocks for the season.  She had her season high game against Central Oklahoma where she had 18 kills hitting .241 hitting percentage and 29 digs.  Yuchen earned 2^nd team All-MIAA for the second year.

FRESHMEN YEAR: Yuchen played and started in 32 matches (115 sets) her freshman year.  She had a total of 332 kills, 681 assists, and 263 digs.  She averaged 2.89 kills per set, 5.93 assists per set, and 2.37 digs per set.  Yuchen’s season high was 23 kills on .513 hitting percentage, with 23 assists, and 12 digs against Adams State University.  She was one of the Hornets top attackers and received 2^nd team All-MIAA as a freshman.  Was named MIAA Player of the Week and Division II Volleyball Player of the Week.  She was also ranked third in the national in triple doubles, having seven triple doubles her freshman season.
