2021: Ebert played in 94 of 97 sets last season and averaged nearly two kills per set with 187 on the season which ranked second on the team. In addition to attacking numbers, she also recorded 253 digs which was also second on the team.

2020-21: In the shortened spring season, Ebert's important role was sustained for the Hornets and she managed multiple games with double-digit kills.

2019: As a true freshman, Shelby became an important player for the Hornets, playing as both an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist. She played in 103 sets and had 137 kills along with 257 digs. She was also named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL/BEFORE HONORS: Shelby was a three sport athlete in high school, participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball.  Most recently Shelby played in the 2019 KVA All-Star Game and was named most inspirational player.  She was All-Centennial League and All-City in both softball and basketball her senior year.  Shelby was a two year Class 6A State Tournament team, All-City (Topeka) 1^st Team, All-League (Centennial) 1^st Team Selection, and Derby invitational All-Tournament team in volleyball.  She was WIBW and KAW Valley Bank Scholar Athlete of the week and KSNT and Wendy’s Scholar Athlete of the Week.

HOBBIES/INTERESTING FACTS: Some fun facts about Shelby are her favorite food is mac and cheese and she was a part of the 2019 6A State Basketball Champions team. Shelby also comes from a very athletic family with her brother currently playing baseball at Kansas State University and her dad playing both football and basketball at ESU back in the day.
