2016 – As Cotman plays in her senior season as a Hornet, she will aim to be one of the best blockers in the MIAA.

2015 – During her junior season at Emporia State Cotman played in 28 matches, starting 27 of them. She recorded 223 kills averaging 2.25 kills per set, ending the season with a .268 hitting percentage. Cotman ended the season second in the MIAA with 1.11 blocks per set, totaling 110 blocks, leading the conference with 23 solo blocks. She had a season high ten blocks on September 15 at William Jewell. Just a few days earlier, Cotman had a season high 16 kills against Harding in the Lindenwood Invitational Tournament. She was named to the MIAA Second Team as a middle blocker for the 2015 season. Cotman was also named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and attended the annual NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum.

2014 – Cotman played in 27 matches and recorded 201 kills for the season, averaging 1.9 kills per set, on a .245 hitting percentage. She was also ranked second on the team in blocks with 91 total, averaging .86 per set. Cotman hit a season high .909 percentage with 10 kills and no errors on 11 attempts against Southwest Baptist on November 7. She also tied her career high blocks with against Missouri Western on October 17. She was named MIAA All-Conference Honorable Mention for the 2014 season. Cotman was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2013 – Cotman played in 25 matches in 2013. She recorded 98 kills on a .270 hitting average and averaged 1.42 kills per set. She also averaged .83 blocks per set with 57 total blocks on the season. 

High School – She was a first-team All-City League performer for the Grizzlies and earned honorable mention all-state in Class 6A as well.

Personal – Cotman is the daughter of Sharon Hunt and William Cotman majoring in Accounting.
