Biography
2020-21: In the shortened spring season, Mikayla continued her important role for the Hornets racking up double-digit kills within a match on multiple occassions. She was also named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.Â
2019: Mikayla played in 99 sets for the Hornets and had 166 kills on a .219 hitting percentage through the middle. She also added 90 digs in defense. She was also named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.Â
2018: Played in 28 matches (72 sets), started in 12 matches. Mikayla had 100 kills on the season, averaging 1.39 kills per set and hitting a .168 hitting percentage. She also added 39 blocks on the season. Her season high came against Washburn with 9 kills and 8 blocks.
2017: Mikayla played in 24 matches (63 sets), starting in 17 matches. She had a total of 80 kills and 40 blocks. She had a season high 10 kills with .333 hitting percentage against Newman University.
High School/Previous Honors: Mikayla was a three sport athlete in high school, playing volleyball, basketball, and track. Made All-Centennial League Volleyball Team, placed 4th in 5A State volleyball, and received All-Class 5A State honors. Mikayla also finished 2nd in 5A state for discus and 6th in shot put.
