This will be Julia’s fourth year on the Hornets Volleyball Team. The team is looking forward to her making an impact on the court as a defensive specialist.  Julia is a very consistent passer and defender. She is also one of the Hornet’s captain and her leadership will be needed to lead the Hornets to a successful season.

JUNIOR YEAR:  Played in 31 matches (108 sets) with 20 starts. Julia Had 253 digs on the season and averaged 2.34 digs per set. She had a season high 21 digs and 9 kills against Oklahoma Baptist. Julia was also one of the captains for the Hornet Volleyball team.

SOPHOMORE YEAR: Julia played in 28 matches (83 sets) as a sophomore. She had a total of 104 kills and 90 digs on the season. She averaged 1.25 kills per set and 1.08 digs per set.  Her season high came against Fort Lewis when she totaled for 10 kills and 3 digs.

FRESHMEN YEAR: As a freshman at Emporia State, Joseph appeared in 29 matches, starting in 11 of those. Joseph totaled 93 kills to average 1.04 kills per set. She also had 123 digs at the end of the season. She had a season high eight kills on October 24 at home versus Pittsburg State. Joseph also earned a season high 17 digs at home on October 16 against Missouri Western. She was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL/BEFORE HONORS: As a senior, Julia was a first-team All-Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League pick and earned second-team All-Class 5A honors from the Kansas Volleyball Association. Julia was also 2^nd team All-Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League as a junior.
