OVERVIEW: This will be Jessica’s third year on the Hornets Volleyball Team. The team is looking forward to her making an impact on the court as an outside or right side hitter.  Jessica has a heavy arm swing and very good court awareness.  

AWARDS/HONORS: Athletic Director Honor Roll, Presidential Scholarship recipient
SOPHOMORE YEAR: Jessica played in five matches (10 sets).  She had 5 kills on the season and battled an ankle injury most of the year.
FRESHMEN YEAR: Jessica played in five matches (7 sets), starting in one match. She had 8 kills on the season and averaged 1.14 kills per set.
HIGH SCHOOL/BEFORE HONORS: Jessica was a three sport athlete in high school, competing in volleyball, basketball, and track.  She received NCKL All-league in all three sports.  For volleyball, Jessica was NCKL League 1^st Team pick freshman through senior year.  She also received 4A All-State Honorable mention volleyball as a freshman, 4A All-State 2^nd team as a sophomore, 4A All-State 1^st team junior and senior year, and 4A All-Tournament at State as a senior. Jessica also holds the record for most total kills in a season and career at Abilene High School.  Lastly, she was a member of Abilene High School’s National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society.
