2018 Women's Volleyball Roster
Biography
This will be Jamie’s last year on the Hornets Volleyball Team. The team is looking forward to her making an impact on the court as a right side hitter. Jamie has a crazy vertical which allows her to really get on top of the ball and be efficient at the net. She is also one of the Hornet’s captains and her leadership will be necessary for a successful season.
AWARDS/HONORS: Honorable Mention All-MIAA, Athletic Directors Honor Roll, Psi Chi
JUNIOR YEAR: Jamie played in 31 matches (110 sets), starting in 12 matches. Jamie had a total of 269 kills with 40 blocks her junior season. She averaged 2.45 kills per set and hit a .237 hitting percentage on the season. Her season high came against Oklahoma Baptist where she had 17 kills on .516 hitting percentage. Jamie was a team captain for the Hornets and received Honorable Mention All-MIAA.
SOPHOMORE YEAR: Jamie played in 33 matches (112 sets) her sophomore season. She had a total of 221 kills and 49 blocks. Jamie average 1.97 kills per set and had a .208 hitting percentage on the season. Her season high was 15 kills, with a .375 hitting percentage against Oklahoma Baptist.
FRESHMEN YEAR: As a freshman at Emporia State, Hauptman started 15 matches and played in 28 matches. She totaled 130 kills to average 1.43 kills per set during the 2015 season. Hauptman had a game high 13 kills against Harding at the Lindenwood Invitational Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL/BEFORE HONORS: In high school had over 500 kills and 265 digs as she led the Patriots to the Nebraska state tournament for the first time since 2007.
