McCue is a graduate of Osage City HS where she was a 4x All-Academic award winner. She was a 3x State qualifier in cross country, a league and regional champion in the 4x800, and All-League in cross country in 2017 and 2018.

2019-20
: In her first year as a collegiate athlete, McCue will look to improve upon her 20:57 5k time and develop into a reliable leader in this program. McCue ran a season best in the 800 meters at the UCM Invite by running 2:41.13. Her outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: McCue was able to compete during the indoor season where she would run 1:07.80 for 400 meters at the Ichabod Invitational. A knee injury sidelined her for the outdoor season.

Born May 29, 2001...daughter of Mike and Jill McCue...has one sibling Brock...majoring in Physical Education and Mathematics with a minor in Coaching.
