In HS
Mpwo is a graduate of Olathe North HS where she was a citizen award recepient. On the track, Mpwo was a 4 year letter winner and earned the Joe Cannaday award at her Senior awards night.Â
At ESU
2019-20: Mpwo will begin her collegiate career as a sprinter for the lady hornets. With a PR of 12.23 in the 100 meters and 25.48 in the 200 meters, she will look to better those marks during her first year. Mpwo made a big impact at her first MIAA Indoor Championships by running a 7.77 in the 60 meter dash, placing 5th and earning all-conference. Mpwo's outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: After a strong Freshman season, Mpwo continues to build on her speed as she enters her second year with the lady Hornets. Mpwo's best 100 meter dash came at the Alex Francis Classic where she clocked a 12.31
