Biography
In High School
While at Belle Plaine High School, Smith was a top 15 placer at the State Cross Country meet for all four years where she also made the podium in the 2 mile at the State Track & Field meet all four years. Smith was on the honor roll and was awarded academic all-state.
At ESU
A veteran for the lady hornets cross country program, Smith will help lead a young group of distance runners while also trying to improve upon her PR's of 2:30 in the 800m and 5:20 in the mile.
Personal
Born April 23, 1998...daughter of Mary and Duane...has one sister Laney (18)...majoring in marketing.
