Biography
In HS
Cookson is a graduate of West Elk HS where she was All-Area female track and field athlete of the year in 2017. Cookson was a 3x State qualifier in the 200 meters and a 2x State qualifier in the long jump. Off the track, Cookson was a member of the National Honors Society and she was a Kansas Honor Scholar. Coming into ESU, Cookson is a recipient of the Rudd Scholarship.
At ESU
2020-21: Cookson will begin her collegiate career with the lady Hornets where she will further develop her talents as a sprinter and jumper. Cookson's best long jump came at the Midwest Classic where she jumped 4.56m (14'11.5") and her best triple jump mark of the year came at the ESU Spring Invitational where she jumped 10.53m (34'6.75").

Born October 21, 2001...daughter of Teri Cookson and Dan and Ronda Cookson...has two siblings Cole and Harper...majoring in Accounting.
