As a junior, Gowing hit .348 with an on base percentage of .424. Gowing had 69 hits including 40 RBI’s and runs. He started 49 games on the year and was a 2nd team All-MIAA selection.
 
As a sophomore, at Hutchinson Community College, Gowing hit .375 with a .470 on base percentage. He finished the season with 15 doubles, 85 hits, and 20 stolen bases. Gowing was named to the All-Conference and Golden Glove selection.
 
As a freshman in 2014 at Hutchinson Community College, Gowing hit .328 with 43 runs scored and a .400 on base percentage. He also had 4 Home runs and 24 stolen bases. Gowing was named to the All-Conference selection.
 
Gowing has previously played at Hutchinson Community College and attended Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita Kansas.
 
Gowing is majoring in Business Administration and is the son of Greg and Deb Gowing.
