Jose Vaca Bustamante

Jose Vaca is currently entering his 2nd season at Emporia State University as the Graduate Assistant. Originally from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Jose played varsity tennis for ESU at #1 singles and doubles positions during his senior year. He was on the ESU men’s team that made it to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history. Jose served as an Assistant coach at the Emporia High School for three seasons and also worked for the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy for two summers. Vaca holds a bachelors degree in Economics, and is now pursuing his masters degree in HPER. He has made a big impact on his first year as an Assistant coach, helping the Lady Hornets to attend their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2007. Jose will be graduating in May 2015 and will pursue the career of tennis coaching.
