Originally from Brighton, England, Hounsell brings extensive playing experience at both the NCAA Division II and NAIA levels.

Hounsell started between the posts in 47 matches, making 161 saves, across three seasons at DII Montevallo. She was twice named GSC Goalkeeper of the Week in 2024 on her way to All-Conference and All-Region honors. In addition to on-field success, Hounsell also earned CSC Academic All-District honors.

Beyond her playing experience, she has completed some coaching education and will be pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at Emporia State.

Hounsell has received her FA Introduction to Coaching certificate.
