While competing for Osceola HS, Wheatley was a conference champion in the 800, 1600, 3200, and the 4x800 relay. Along with being a conference champion in those events, Wheatley was a member of the All-State team in the 800 and 1600.
At ESU
2018: Coming into her Sophomore year for the lady hornets, Wheatley looks to be one of the leaders of the team while improving upon her PR's of 2:26 (800), 5:06 (1500), and 21:34 (5000).
2019: Entering her Junior year, Wheatley looks to start things where she left off last year. With a strong finish in the track season. Wheatley looks to be one of the top 5 runners for the lady hornets while she continues to develop her leadership skills. Wheatley ran a 16:15.4 through 4k at the J.K. Gold Classic, setting a new PR.
2020: Wheatley's season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Born December 23, 1998...daughter of Joyce and Dave Wheatley...majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Psychology.
