Meier is an international student from Norway that graduated from Emporia High. In 2016, Meier made the principles honor roll and during the same year, she placed fourth in the 400m at the Kansas State High School Track and Field Championships.
At ESU
2018: Entering her Sophomore year at Emporia State, Meier will enter her first year for the women's Cross Country program. With PR's of 26.36 (200) and 58.84 (400), Meier will look to take some of that speed from the oval and bring it to the cross country course to improve upon her 20:17.52 PR in the 5000.
2019: With a PR of 20:54 for cross country, Meier enters her second season of XC looking to better that mark. Meier looks to be a leader for this young women's distance team. Meier finished the 4k course at the J.K. Gold Classic in a time of 17:02.5.
2020: Meier's season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Born May 14, 1998...daughter of Sissel Margretha Holsen and Oystein Meier...has three siblings Yvonne, Havard, and Alise...majoring in international business.
