In his first season with the Hornets.

In High School
He averaged 18.1 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals a game as a senior for the Panthers.  He was a Third-Team All-Kansas All-Class selection as a senior. He is a three-time First-Team Class 3A All-State selection by the Topeka Capital Journal, Wichita Eagle and Sports In Kansas. He is the Royal Valley HS career record holder with over 1,200 points, 250 assists and 200 steals.
