2014- Vandiver is in her senior season with the Lady Hornets.
2013- As a junior Amber averaged 7.7 points per game and was third on the team in rebounding, averaging 6.1 per game. Â
Previous-Â Vandiver is a 6-1 forward that transferred to Emporia State at the semester break from Boise State. She started ten of 11 games in the first semester of her sophomore year, averaging 6.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game. She had 12 points and a career high 16 rebounds in a 71-64 win against UMKC. She saw action in 26 games as a freshman for the Broncos and scored a total of 37 points, with 37 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and seven steals in 7.3 minutes per game.
High School-Â Â A 2011 graduate of Capital HS in Boise, Idaho she averaged 12 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.4 blocks per game during her only year. She earned second-team All-State and first-team All-Southern Idaho Conference honors as she helped lead Capital to its first Idaho 5A state tournament berth since 2002. She attended Laramie HS in Laramie, Wyo. her freshman through junior seasons. As a junior she averaged 11 points, a state-high 9.7 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game and led the state in field goal percentage at 60-percent. She was an all-state and all-conference honoree as a junior for the Plainsmen. She is the daughter of Emporia State men's basketball coach Shaun Vandiver.
