Biography

As a Junior in 2013
Tricia Vogel was named second-team All-Region as a non-pitching utility player after earing first-team All-MIAA honors in the same capacity. She led the MIAA in sacrifice flies and getting hit by pitch, was ranked fourth in RBI, and fifth in doubles. She is just the second Hornet to have over 50 RBI in back to back seasons.  She was 24th in the nation in sac flies and 72nd in RBI per game. She was a first-team NFCA and second-team Daktronics All-South Central Region pick last year at first base.

As a Sophomore in 2012

She was named first-team All-MIAA...scored the game tying run in the fifth inning fo the MIAA Championship game... batted .403 with 11 doubles, eight home runs and 53 RBI this season...hit .507 in MIAA play with an .851 slugging percentage and .541 on base percentage.. hit .412 with runners on base and hit .451 with runners in scoring position...had a .404 batting average with two outs and a team best 23 two out RBI...was four for six with five RBI in the double header sweep of Missouri Western...was four for six with three RBI and four runs scored in the first game against West Texas A&M. She was named MIAA Hitter of the Week after going batting .615 with a 1.545 slugging percentage.

As a Freshman in 2011

She hit 184 playing in 22 games for the Hornets with one home run and two runs batted in...scored five runs. 

High School 

Was a four year letter winner at Clearwater High School...was named second team All-State during her senior season...was was named first team All-League during all four season’s...was named All-Wichita Metro Utility player during her senior year...named Lynette Woodard Player of the Year. 

Personal 

Parents are Randy and Nancy Vogel...a secondary education major.
