2015-16- Pedersen is in his junior season with the Hornets.

2014-15- Pedersen made 21 straight free throws from the Lindenwood game on Jan. 5, 2015 through the final game of the year against Pittsburg State. He had 11 points and four rebounds at Neb.-Kearney. He had a career high nine rebounds against Washburn, with eight of them offensive. He scored in double figures in four straight games before going scoreless against Sterling. He had 11 points and seven rebounds at Mo. Southern. He had 12 points with seven rebounds against McPherson. He had 11 points at Southwest Baptist and scored ten points and was a perfect six of six from the free throw line against Rockhurst. He had eight points, five rebounds and four assists against Eastern New Mexico. He had career highs of 15 points and six rebounds at Newman.

2013-14- Pedersen played in 28 games as a freshman at Emporia State. He averaged 3.4 points per game and 1.6 rebounds per game. He held the high free throw percentage on the Hornets with a minimum of 10 attempts, at 90%. Pedersen scored nine points with five rebounds at Central Oklahoma. He was eight for eight from the free throw line against Pittsburg State as a freshman. He scored nine points on two of three shooting from the three-point line against Central Missouri. He scored a then career high 12 points against Newman and twice tied the score on a pair of free throws in the final three minutes. He had three steals and two assists in his first career start against Southeastern Oklahoma.

High School- Pedersen is a 6-7 forward from Olathe, Kan. and played at Shawnee Mission South HS. He averaged 14.2 points and 8.6 rebounds for the undefeated Class 5A state champion Raiders.  He was a first-team KBCA Class 5A All-State selection as a senior.

Personal- Born on February 24th, 1995. Josh is a physics major. He is the son of Mark and Donna Pedersen.
