Biography

Cope enters her senior year at Emporia State in the 2018 season as the starter at third base.

Last year as a junior at Emporia State, Cope earned All-MIAA honorable mention honors with a batting avg. of .258 with 41 hits and 18 runs. She started in 52 games for the Hornets and held a .960 fielding percentage at third base with 58 put outs and 87 assists.

As a sophomore at Johnson County Community College, Cope was selected to Second Team All-Kansas Jayhawk at third base. She had a .408 batting average and led the team with 71 hits, 18 doubles, four triples, 37 runs and 38 RBI.

As a freshman in 2015 at Johnson County Community College, Cope earned First Team All-Kansas Jayhawk and second-team all-district.

Cope attended Baldwin High School.
