Coach Passmore

Linda Passmore

Linda (Ketter) Passmore begins her sixth year as an assistant coach with the Lady Hornets for the 2020-21 season. Passmore is a familiar face for the program, as she played for the Hornets from 2006-10.

 

Passmore (Ketter) graduated in 2010 from Emporia State with a 3.83 GPA and Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education. She was selected as the Wal-Mart Without Peer Award recipient her senior year and was a member of ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-District team, National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American, ESU’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, and MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.  

 

In her senior season, Ketter started all 64 games in left field and batted .355 with 6 home runs and 26 RBI. She was selected as a first-team All-MIAA outfielder, after starting at ESU as an infielder.

 

Ketter was also a member of the Lady Hornets NCAA Division II National Runner-Up team in 2008.  

 

Her freshman year, she tied the MIAA record with the most RBIs in a single inning, when she hit two home runs in the same inning against Minnesota State-Crookston, for a total of 7 RBIs.

 

Ketter is formerly of Home, KS and graduated in 2006 from Marysville High School, where she lead the softball team in batting percentage and was a Team Captain her senior year.

 

Linda (Ketter) Passmore and her husband, Jason, reside outside of Emporia with their three daughters, Zoe, Mayah, and Ellen. Passmore also works full-time at Mike’s Sporting Goods in Emporia.
