Last season as a sophomore with the Hornets, Berry had a .304 batting average, 12 stolen bases and 42 hits that included 12 doubles.

In her freshman season in 2015, Berry played in 12 games for the Hornets with two runs.

Berry was a four year letter winner at DeSoto high school. During her senior season, she batted .494 with 39 hits, 29 runs and 18 RBI. Berry earned Second Team All-State Infielder, Lawrence Journal-World All Area Team, and Second Team All Pioneer League Infield Honors in 2014 as a senior. As a junior in 2013, she helped lead her team to a State Championship with a .499 batting average. Berry garnered First Team All-State Outfielder and First Team All-Pioneer League Outfielder as a sophomore and junior. Berry was named DeSoto high school Newcomer of the Year as a Freshman in 2011. 

Berry is a Physical Education major, minoring in Coaching. She is the daughter of Duane and Janet Berry.
