In HS
Beard is a graduate of Topeka West where he was on the honor roll all 4 years and lettered academically for 3 years. Out of the classroom, Beard lettered in track for 3 years, was 1st team All-City for track & field (2018-19), and was nominated for the 2019 Shawnee County Sports Award.
At ESU
2019-20: Beard begins his collegiate career with the Hornets where he will look to develop into a talented athlete. Beard began his collegiate career at the Crimson & Gold Invitational where he ran a 7.28 in the 60 meter dash and a 23.07 for 200 meters. That 23.07 200 meter time would end up being Beard's personal best. Beard ran a PR of 7.18 in the 60 meters at the Steve Miller Open in February. Beard's first collegitate outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: Beard opened his Sophomore season at the ESU Spring Invitational where he ran 11.53 in the 100 meters and 22.70 for 200 meters. In the coming weeks, Beard would set lifetime bests in those events by running 22.58 for 200 meters at the Wichita State Open and 11.17 for 100 meters at the Midwest Classic.

Born June 1, 2001...son of DeAnna Noel and Jason Beard...has 1 sibling Tiovon...majoring in Chemistry.
