Biography
In HS
While attending Sheldon High School, Seidel was the male MVP for three straight years for the boys track and field team and the most valuable runner for the 2018 season. In 2016, Seidel was apart of the OSAA 6A State Championship team. Seidel was also a three-time letterman in wrestling and football and he led the football team in tackles in the 2017 season.
At ESU
2018-19: Entering his first season with the Hornets, Seidel will look to fill the shoes of former multis Payson Maydew and Wyatt Sander. With PR's of 56.25 in the 400m hurdles, 15.42 in the 110m high hurdles, and 21.50 in the long jump, Seidel will look to help the Hornets come championship season. Seidel ran a 54.13 in the 400 meter hurdles at the MIAA Outdoor Championships and placed 5th.
2019-20: Seidel will continue his success in the 400 meter hurdles and will continue his development in the heptathlon and decathlon as he begins his Sophomore year. Seidel's best heptathlon of the season came at the MIAA Indoor Championships where he scored 4419 points. His outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: Seidel battled an injury throughout the indoor season but opened his outdoor season at the ESU Spring Invitational where he ran 55.81 for the 400 meter hurdles.

Born June 19, 2000...son of Scott and Kristi Seidel...has two siblings, Aidan and Gabe...majoring in Nursing.
