Graduate of Olathe East, Baheyadeen ran track all four years for the Hawks where he was a two-time medalist in the 800m, 4x400m relay and 4x800m relay. Baheyadeen was also a member of the 4x800m State Championship winning relay while helping the Hawks capture two State Championship Titles.

At ESU
2016-17: During his first year as a collegiate athlete, Baheyadeen ran his season best in the 800 at the MIAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 1:53.50. That same season Baheyadeen found himself atop the podium at the Kansas Relays for the 4x800 relay.
2017-18: Baheyadeen dipped down to the 600 yard a few times during the indoor season and clocked a PR of 1:12.80 at the UCM Invite. That same indoor season Baheyadeen had another PR performance in the 800 at the MIAA Indoor Championships, clocking a 1:52.36 placing him 4th. He would repeat as a Kansas Relays champion in the 4x800 relay and was a part of the 4x800 Drake Relays Champion team.
2018-19: Baheyadeen battled injuries throughout the indoor season and causing him to redshirt his outdoor season. At the MIAA Indoor Championships however, Baheyadeen was able to persevere and helped the 4x400 relay place 4th in a time of 3:14.29.
2019-20: Baheyadeen opened his 2019-2020 campaign with a 1:54.15 800 meters at the Crimson & Gold Invitational. After a 1:14.24 600 yard race at the UCM Invite, Baheyadeen rallied off a few more 1:54 800 meter performances before his season best 1:53.60 which came at the 5th annual Gorilla Classic. Baheyadeen ran 1:53.65 at the Arkansas Qualifier and ran a 1:53.75 at the 2020 MIAA Indoor Championships, which earned him a 3rd place finish and All-MIAA honors. Baheyadeen's 2020 Outdoor Track & Field season was canceled due to COVID-19.
