At ESU
2018-19: Goodpaster couldn't have asked for a more successful Freshman season. After the football season ended, Goodpaster jumped straight on the track where he became a reliable leg for the 4x400 relay. At the MIAA Outdoor Championships, Goodpaster was apart of the championship 4x400 relay team that set the MIAA meet record in a time of 3:09.56. That time qualified the relay for the NCAA National Championships where they ran a 3:10.47 to place 7th and earn All-American status.
2019-20: Goodpaster began his Sophomore season by running the 600 yards at the Crimson & Gold Invitational where he clocked a 1:12.87. His first 400 meter race was at the Gorilla Classic where he ran a 48.29. Goodpaster went on to help the 4x400 meter relay capture the title at the MIAA Indoor Championships. His outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: Goodpaster was a part of the 4x400 meter relay squad that placed 4th at the MIAA Indoor Championships with a time of 3:15.94. That same squad qualified for the NCAA Indoor National Championships where they placed 9th with a time of 3:16.25. Goodpaster began the outdoor season at the ESU Spring Invitational where he ran a lifetime best of 22.16 for 200 meters.
