Biography
In HS
Owings is a graduate of Baldwin HS where off the track he was on the honor roll. On the track, Owings was All-League during the 2018-19 season and All-State in 2019.
At ESU
2019-20: Owings will begin his collegiate career with the Hornets where he looks to develop into s jumper/sprinter. Owings would have a PR in the long jump at the Steve Miller Open with a mark of 19'0.5" (5.80m). His outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: An off and on foot injury has kept Owings somewhat on the sideline this season but he has managed to jump a season best of 5.80m (19'0.5") in the long jump at the Midwest Classic and 11.75m (38'6.75") in the triple jump.
