Biography
In HS
Scott is a Kaw Valley League and Turner HS record holder in the 300m hurdles (39.2). A former KC-Star athlete of the year, a two-time state medalist in the 300m hurdles, a 3-time KVL champion in the 300m hurdles and a KVL champion in the 110 hurdles and 4x400 relay.
At ESU
2018-19: A Freshman for the Hornets, Scott will jump up to the 400m hurdles and he will try to improve upon his PR's of 15.2 (110H) and 56.5 (400H). Scott ran a PR in the 400 meter hurdles at the MIAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 55.01 and placed 8th.
2019-20: Scott enters his second season with the Hornets where he looks to continue his improvement in the hurdles. Scott focused on the 600 yards during the indoor season where he ran a lifetime best of 1:14.69 at the Bearcat Open. Scott's outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2020-21: Scott has taken seconds off his 400 meter hurdle time every meet this outdoor season. His best mark this season came at the Midwest Classic where he ran a 55.31.

Born February 7, 2000...son of Sedric and Rosie Scott...has two siblings, Jalen and Sedric Jr...majoring in Marketing.
