Biography
In HS
Competing for Wichita East, Burnett is a three-time city league champion, a regional champion, and a one-time State champion in the high jump.
At ESU
2016-17: Burnett started his collegiate career off strong with a clearance of 6'6.25" (1.99) in the high jump at the Crimson & Gold Invitational. That following outdoor season he would go on to set a new PR of 6'8" (2.03) at the MIAA vs NSIC Showdown.
2017-18: Burnett was able to jump 2.00 meters again at the Crimson & Gold Invitational and held consistent at 1.95 meters in the other meets.
2018-19:Burnett red-shirted his Junior season.
2019-20: A senior and veteran for the Hornets, Burnett will look to snag a few points come championship season.

Born September 15, 1997...son of Carolyn Burnett and Larnell James...has seven siblings LaTia, Larheena, Lawana, Lastacia, Lanelle, Camryn, and Calil...majoring in Communication.
