Biography
In HS
A graduate of Emporia High School, Hastert was a 2-time all-state runner for the Spartans. Along with track, Hastert was on the 1st team all-league for football and was all-state in football for the Spartans as well. During his high school years, Hastert was awarded KVOE Athlete of the Year.
At ESU
2019-20: Hastert opened his season at the Crimson & Gold Invitational where he clocked a 2:03.56 800 meters. Hastert then decided to take some time off to focus on his schooling.
2020-21: Hastert battled a knee injury throughout the indoor season but was able to compete at the Wichita State Open where he ran 2:07.40 for 800 meters.

Born December 28, 1999...son of Karen and Brad...has one older sibling (21)...majoring in accounting.
