Phatsimo joined the Hornet Tennis coaching staff in 2023 as the graduate assistant for the both the men and the women's teams and is in her second year at Emporia State. 

Ruele played at Bethune-Cookman from 2016-2019 and was part of a Wildcats team that advanced to the MEAC Tournament Championship. She graduated with a degree in finance from B-CU and is currently working towards her MBA and MIST at Emporia State.

Phatsimo is a native of Gaborone, Botswana.
