Biography
In HS
Barrera is a graduate of Stanton Co. Jr/Sr. High School where he was apart of the State championship team in cross country for 2019. Barrera was also the League champion in 2019 and his team were League champions in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He was also apart of the Regional Championship team all four years.
At ESU
2020: Barrera will join the Hornets where he will continue his development as a distance runner. His Freshman cross country season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Born November 26, 2001...son of Teresa Hernandez and Joseph Barrera...has four siblings, Aja, Avory, Nicolas, and Christopher...majoring in Psychology.
