At the end of the 2017 regular season, LaMunyon has a .280 batting average, a .495 slugging percentage and a .333 on base percentage. He has 26 hits that include three doubles, a triple, five home runs and two late inning, game winning home runs. LaMunyon has been walked six times and has 15 stolen bases. He had a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning against Newman on March 15 to win 7-6. 

Last season as a junior at Emporia State, LaMunyon hit .335 with 68 hits including 17 doubles and five home runs. He had 59 runs scored and 37 RBI to go along with All-MIAA Honorable Mention.

As a sophomore in 2015 at Kansas City Kansas Community College, LaMunyon led the Jayhawk conference with 34 stolen bases. He also posted 15 doubles and had a .320 hitting percentage.

During the 2014 season as a freshman at Kansas City Kansas Community College, LaMunyon was selected to sto all-conference at third base with 20 doubles, a .340 hitting percentage and five home runs.

LaMunyon transferred from Kansas City Kansas Community College and attended Blue Valley high school. He is a native of Leawood, Kan.

LaMunyon is majoring in Physical Education and is the son of Alex and Debra LaMunyon.
