Adam Cytlak is in his first year as an assistant coach at Emporia State. He spent the last five seasons as an assistant at NCAA Division II member Ohio Domincan of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

While with the Panthers Cytlak was in charge of  all player development, scouting, and recruiting. He helped coach the 2020-21 G-MAC Freshman of the Year Zach Szul. He also helped produce two all-conference players in Hasan Varence and Sam Hickey.

Cytlak played four years at Ohio Dominican under then head coach Dan Evans. He was a three captain and four-year starter for the program. During his four years, he tallied 155 made three-pointers. He led the team in minutes per game his senior year (29.2) and was the only member of the team to start all 31 games that season. Cytlak also helped ODU capture their first G-MAC Tournament title in their inaugural season in the conference, 2017-18.
