Biography

Steele comes to Emporia State from Kansas HS in Oklahoma and will be transitioning from Quarterback to Stinger Back for the Hornets.  In his career Steele amassed 7,424 yards and 81 total touchdowns - 60 passing and 21 rushing. He was also named First team All-District Quarterback as a senior.  He was named to the KURM Radio Dream Team in 2022 and 2023. He was named PrepRedzone All-State Honorable Mention as a sophomore and junior.  Steele is a member of the Kansas HS Basketball and Baseball teams.  He plans on majoring in technology/physics.
