Biography

Ziegler is coming to Emporia State from Council Grove HS.  He was named a First-Team All-State at defensive line and the Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year three times. In his Senior season Ziegler recorded 58 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, four sacks, and ten QB hurries.  As an offensive lineman he also recorded 26 pancake blocks. As a Senior he helped lead Council Grove to the State Quarterfinals for the first time in school history. He is also a member of the Council Grove Track and Field team.  He plans on majoring in education.
